Every customer signal is emitting information: a survey response, a support ticket, an online review, or a social media post. The bottleneck is that most teams are scanning for insights manually, one dashboard, one click, one prompt at a time.
For years, Caplena has been about helping CX, Insights and Market Research teams tune in: turning open-ended feedback into insights anyone on your team can find, explore, and share. Today we're launching two new features that bring you a step further beyond looking for insights, so you can focus on closing the loop. Meet Insights Radar and Tasks.
Your team already knows how to read a dashboard, spot a trend, and tell a story with data. The gap is bandwidth: nobody can watch every signal, every day, across every source, segment, and market. No one has that many eyes on that many screens.
When everything competes for attention, the instinct is to dig deeper. Apply one more filter, one more cross-tab, instead of acting on what's already there. It feels like diligence, but it gets even the best teams stuck in analysis paralysis. Forrester's 2025 survey of 311 CX and VoC leaders found only 27% "effectively communicate insights in a timely way," and just half can link CX metrics to business outcomes at all. Forrester's own Predictions 2026 for CX is blunter still: teams who keep proving value through dashboards instead of outcomes risk a "death spiral" that erodes their credibility inside the business.
Radar and Tasks exist to change that flight path. They make finding a signal the start of the work, not the end of it. Instead of your team spending more time scanning, the thing worth finding comes to you.
Insights Radar continuously scans the data flowing into Caplena (surveys, reviews, support tickets, social, employee feedback) and puts what's worth your attention on the scope before you know to look for it.
Surfaced insights live alongside your dashboards, making them instantly actionable. No prompting involved, no alert threshold to maintain. Insights works in both directions: a risk building up in one segment shows up alongside an opportunity worth doubling down.
Prompting is manual flying: powerful when you know exactly where you're headed, exhausting on every routine leg. Insights Radar is the autopilot. It keeps reading your feedback and tells you what the data is saying, before you ask."

Tasks are what happens once something moves from being on the radar to being in scope. Any insight, either flagged by Insights Radar or spotted by a human, becomes a task in one click. Give it an owner, a due date, a priority level, linking straight back to the data behind it. Exploring feedback doesn't have to stop at a chart anymore. It can end in something done.
The two create a system to close the insights-to-action gap faster. Insight Radar makes sure nothing worth knowing gets missed. Tasks make sure nothing worth acting upon gets lost .
How Insights Radar works under the hood is that it continuously monitors your data for statistically significant patterns.
Based on our market research experience and supporting our customers everyday, we know a thing or two about which signals can be worth surfacing, and acting on. Here are just a few examples of many things Insights Radar watches for.
| Signal Type | What it does | Why it's worth it |
| Anomaly detection | Surfaces themes with changes beyond normal fluctuation | You focus on statistically significant changes, pointing to potential root causes. |
| Signal Type | What it does | Why it's worth it |
| Winning Combination | Spots topic clusters that delight more when mentioned together than alone. | You can repeat the experiences that wow customers and employees at scale. |
| Signal Type | What it does | Why it's worth it |
| Diverging segment | Reveals a customer or employee segment with a diverging sentiment trend. | You discover new, data-backed criteria to cluster your audience beyond internally defined customer segments. |
Insight Radar scans your report views at regular intervals. If it finds a statistically significant insight, a card appears with a summary you can drill into, prompt for followup questions, and turn into a task. If no finding is worth your attention, no insight will be displayed. When an insight is no longer relevant, the card disappears.
Every insight on the radar can vanish the same way it appeared: automatically, the moment it's no longer true. We spent as much effort teaching it when to stop saying something as we did teaching it what to say."

Unlike the alerts you can already program in Caplena, no configuration is needed. Insights Radar works on any data source you import into Caplena, like surveys, reviews or support tickets.
There's no threshold panel because there's nothing to tune. Whether something is worth surfacing gets figured out from the data itself, the same way an analyst would notice it and not from a rule someone configured six months ago and forgot about."

A blip on the radar that nobody owns gets lost in translation. When Insights Radar surfaces something (or when anyone on your team spots something worth acting on), it takes 1 click to turn it into a task. It gets an owner, a status, and a permanent link to the source data to back it up. As it moves from assigned to in progress to done, that audit trail stays attached to the insight, instead of becoming out of reach in a separate tool.
If you're already thinking "we already have a project management tool", Tasks isn't trying to replace it. It's the one click after the insight, so the moment someone decides something is worth doing, it retains the context and data so everyone downstream can see the number that started it. Tasks can also be brought to one's project management tool of choice using MCP connectivity.
No. just like Insights Radar surfaces both risks and wins, tasks shouldn’t only be about fixing broken CX experiences and potential revenue leaks. Some tasks will read "Providing re-booking help: +25 NPS points if fixed" Others will read "Expand new staff training program: +12 Net Sentiment in pilot stores." Knowing what to fix shouldn’t be at the expense of knowing what to double down on. And now it's the same workflow.
If you're on an CX, insights, or analytics team inside a large organization, this is built for the moment your job stops being "find the numbers" and starts being "make sure someone did something about it." Insights Radar catches what you'd otherwise need to go looking for. Tasks gives you a way to hand it off, to your team or to the dashboard users who’re already notified on insights discovered, giving everyone a clean record of what happened next.
The same logic applies if you're on an employee experience team: it works for the feedback that shapes employee retention, company culture and your employer brand,
If you're at a research agency running studies for brands, Insights Radar catches what matters in a client's project without exporting to Excel. Tasks turn every recommendation into something trackable, to align the project team, then fold it into the final presentation. Together, Caplena's interactive report, Insights Radar, and Tasks become one high-value deliverable: a system your clients can act on, not just read.
If part of this sounds familiar, it's because a handful of large enterprise experience management platforms have edged toward something like it. But there, catching a signal and doing something about it usually means configuration first — thresholds to define, admin rules to wire up, a workflow module to provision — and it arrives bundled inside a much broader, much heavier suite.
Caplena is built the other way around: detection and native task-tracking work out of the box. Teams move faster, without configuring their way into it.
In many platforms, 'insight' is oversold. An increase in a metric isn't an answer. At best, it’s a starting point. Learning directly from insights professionals, we built Insights Radar to automate the hunting process. Our agents surface early trends and hidden nuggets proactively, complete with an audit trail so you always trust the data behind the decision."

Insights shouldn't wait for someone to have the time to go looking, and they shouldn't stall out the moment someone finds them. Every one left unacted on is revenue and loyalty left on the table.
Insights Radar and Tasks are rolling out now, currently enabled across select customers.
