We are unveiling a new look for Caplena. Since our beginnings in 2018, we have made significant strides, along with our product, customers, and team. We are excited to introduce a new brand identity and website that more accurately represents who we are today and where we are heading.
Our product is evolving
We are almost seven years old. Yet introducing our new brand is not about us reaching the age of reason. We are on a mission to build a platform that revolutionizes feedback utilization, and we are about to release our most ambitious product launch to date: Caplena 3.0.
This launch marks our evolution from text analysis software to a feedback analysis platform. Caplena has become the place to centralize and analyze all sources of feedback for deep insights into the Voice of Customers and Employees.
Our customers have evolved alongside us
Today, we serve leading enterprise companies and market research firms that rely on Caplena to make smart business decisions and share insights with their stakeholders. We’ve augmented our platform to cater to their unique needs, including powerful dashboard capabilities, dynamic summarization, and chatbot interfaces so anyone can gain deeper insights interactively.
Our team has grown, too.
Starting with our two co-founders Maurice and Pascal, we have become an international team of data and UX enthusiasts representing more than 10 nationalities. So we aim for our brand identity to reflect our evolution.
We teamed up with heartbeat as our design partner to redefine our visual identity. You will notice a clear change in our look and feel. We have abandoned our staple blue and green. They were reassuring, but could not convey the ubiquitous nature of feedback, our multi-faceted platform, or our diversity as a company.
Logo
Our logo has simply evolved towards more contrast and clarity. We’re still the familiar Caplena, a passionate team that genuinely cares about designing solutions to our Customers' challenges.
Color palette
Our new palette spans across an extended range of hues. It aims to represent the many colors of feedback, and the many topics and sentiments they can reveal.
Signature pattern
Our signature pattern is dots on a loose grid. They evoke unstructured data turning into structured analysis.
They reveal a path forward, in the same way data-driven insights enable clarity and decision-making.
Layered as half-tone photography, they represent the people and teams we empower with insights.
Typography
Our new typefaces are Wasa and Inter.
Wasa is a sans-serif created to allow fluent designs while featuring quirky details. Its personality strikes a balance between cleanliness and creativity. Its transitions from the circular bowls into the straight strokes, give a dynamism and personality while ensuring a more balanced ton. The letters “Q”, “a”, “g” and the figures “1”, “6”, “9” have the main aesthetic characteristics that make this typeface original. These evoke the unique details and insights sometimes hidden in customer feedback.
Inter is a font designed to make it easier to read text on computer screens. It was created by Rassmus Andersson from Figma. Today’s Inter is one of the world's most used typefaces, from computer interfaces, advertising & airports, to NASA instrumentation. It offers 2000 glyphs covering 147 languages, making it a perfect choice to render multilingual feedbacks inside the Caplena platform.
We have updated our website to reflect our new identity and product evolution. We have also enhanced our website, making our product front and center and providing a clear presentation of its features. Besides English, it is now also available in German and French to be closer to our customers. And, we have created a new Events page to better feature the many conferences and webinars our team attends to connect with our customers.
The introduction of our new brand identity is a first step towards the launch of Caplena 3.0, marking our transition from AI text analysis tool to AI feedback analysis platform. As feedback is at the center of what we do, we invited our customers to test our beta so we can gather their precious feedback. The launch of Caplena 3.0. is planned for early 2025.
