However, upon closer analysis of open-ended feedback, we realized that we were deceived by the robot’s 4-star rating. Using Caplena, we analyzed 5,159 reviews and skipped those that had empty responses as they contributed little to the overall analysis. We discovered that the iRobot Roomba s9+ should really have a 3-star average rating, with 52% of customers being unsatisfied based on its Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) score. We also found that 50% (2,822 responses) of negative sentiment concerned the usability of the robot. The customer’s biggest pain points considered its usability, product quality, pricing, and the lack of customer support. If you plan on spending nearly €1k on a robot vacuum this Black Friday, we recommend avoiding this product and not becoming the babysitter to the robot that “constantly gets stuck”.
