First, we have spent close to a decade building and continuously improving our AI model. It uses advanced proprietary Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to identify the topics and sentiments within each response to the highest quality across languages.
But you don't have to take our word for it. Unlike a black box, Caplena provides you with an AI quality score - a F1 score - measuring how confident the AI is in assigning topics and sentiments to your data. This score guides you to the topics and verbatims that can be verified first, to achieve a greater score.
As you fine-tune the results, Caplena learns from you and applies your changes to the entire data set.

Instead of using pre-defined topics, Caplena will tell you which topics are present in your survey responses, creating a codebook (eg. a topic collection) that reflects what respondents are saying. This is great when analyzing data for the first time, or when analysing ad hoc surveys for which you don't have an existing codebook.
If you have pre-defined topics or an existing codebook you want to use to ensure consistency (especially when analysing trackers), you can also import them.
